We get used to everyday things really fast, as a designer, it's my job to see those everyday things; to feel them and try to improve upon them.

A big part of how humanity experiences the Universe is Visual: With shapes, colours and space We get a first feeling of what surrounds Us Design is everywhere and everywhere is the context to which it's applied Everything you use and see is designed.
Design isn't just what it looks like in a given moment; It has to do with entire experiences of using a particular product or service That's why I choose this work, create everyday things for every person.

Mirò

In this project I studied, reused and adapted Mirò's artistic language in order to best represent visually, his works and history. I combined the characteristic features of his style to design a landing page dedicated to him, and the related logo. Conducting his own Surrealism-inspired exploration, Miró invented a new kind of pictorial space in which carefully rendered objects issuing strictly from the artist's imagination are juxtaposed with basic, recognizable forms - a sickle moon, a simplified dog, a ladder. There is the sense that they have always coexisted both in the material realm and in the shallow pictorial space of Miró's art. Miró often worked with a limited palette, yet the colors he used were bold and expressive. His chromatic explorations, which emphasized the potential of fields of unblended color to respond to one another, provided inspiration for a generation of Color Field painters. Miró's art never became fully non-objective. Rather than resorting to complete abstraction, the artist devoted his career to exploring various means by which to dismantle traditional precepts of representation. Miró's radical, inventive style was a critical contributor in the early twentieth-century avant-garde journey toward increasing and then complete abstraction. Artists have traditionally confined themselves to visual expression in a single medium with occasional forays into other materials. However, Miró was, in a sense, a modern renegade who refused to limit himself in this regard. While he explored certain themes such as that of Mother and Child repeatedly throughout his long career, Miró did so in a variety of media from painting and printmaking to sculpture and ceramics, often achieving surprising and disparate results.

Aviary series

I approached illustration much like a graphic designer would, using geometric structures as a backbone for each composition. I decided to abstract Aviary compositions series into structural concepts. The order of these structural concepts is important to maintain as well, as the largest forms are addressed first and then eventually working down into the smaller details. Geometric simplification helps to identify the characteristic features of each figure; This is because geometry is everywhere. Every single being, plant, object and even landscape can be deconstructed into basic forms. It's almost like an encrypted language that nature, as the ultimate designer, uses to build the world we live in. When it comes to art, from Egyptian hieroglyphics to the Bauhaus and from the Reinassance to Constructivism, people have used the same geometric principles to try and achieve the perfect composition. Geometry is, in essence, the search of perfection.

Toucan

I am a breathtaking Toucan, my colorful and oversize bill made me one of the World's most popular birds. I turn heads with my bright black body, blue eyes and contrasting colour. I live in the rainforest of Southern Brazil, surrounded by fruits; I mean I am crazy about them, they're my passion. I stay in the drappled light of canopy and I take shelter in hollowed out trees usually created by Woodpeckers. "I'm this and more"

Parrot

I am Macao Parrot, a flamboyant sequence of rainbow-like plumage. The words curious and vital define me. I Love being in company, chatting and the worldly life; I cannot help myself. I am the objects of your affection, your date with fun. "I'm this and more"

Robin

I am a sweet red chest bird with black tail. My flight seems to defy gravity, a dive into the depths. Nothing is more graceful than my voice, it flows lightly between woodlands and suburbs. The sky is my theater and the trees my audience. "I'm this and more"

Crow

I am a shadow that reflect light with black-gray hues. I'm portrayed deep into darkness, executioner of unbroken silence. Atrocity and spite Prophet, I remind you of buried and burned feelings. Ache, blacked window in blacked opacity, allow only dirty image to filter; Sorrow it's the only created thing that join us. "I'm this and nothing more"

I am design as a work of art. In this project, my task is into making recognisable and eye catching an App Icon. I combine colors, typography, graphical shapes to archive harmonic balance between figure and concept. After Testing multiple sizes Icons with several style; I achieved an easily memorable Icon.

I've designed this celebratory landing page for Groupe Renault. Renault's design aims to give ample space to emotion through a simple, sensual and welcoming style. Interpreted primarily by a series of Concept Cars, since 2012 this language of forms has gradually begun to extend to recent models in the range as well. The page offers a gallery of innovative concepts and embrace the New Renault's Visual Style.

Thank you for taking your time watching my portfolio.
I hope you enjoyed it and see you soon for the next project!

My name is Arbjola Toska and I'm a Digital Product Designer based in Florence, Italy.
Passionate about Art since I was a child, I've started out as a Painter and then undertake a different paths in Visual Arts.
From traditional drawing I learn several ways of representation, techniques, optical rules and compositions. Graphic design taught me the power of abstraction and how to give rythem to simple forms. As a digital product designer I can tell you that I follow the needs of my Users and adopt the design thinking methodology. I just do what I love.
